On the 27th of December, the new album by The Red Fetish was completed in their recording studios of Tampa, Florida. The new album, titled "Floating in Reverse" features new and exciting songs, from the guitar-heavy "Drowning Autumn" to the ethereal and minimalistic "Don't hold your breath (Breathless)," and from the syncopated electronic "Gipsy Tonic" to the odyssey of "When the Fuji's out." Alejandro, the producer-in-chief of the album had this to say "It is undoubtedly one of the better recorded albums we have though you might notice the absence of three of our favorite parameters: the frequent use of noise, the frequent use of country, and the frequent use of reverse." When asked to comment on this statement, the editor-in-chief (incidentally also Alejandro), corrected "One of the songs does, in fact, use some background noise, but no static, unfortunately, not this time." The album is available for purchase through the mail. An electronic store is currently being worked on and should be an available alternative eventually.
Alejandro Castano is holding open auditions for a new project (or to renovate The Red Fetish), please contact us if you are interested.
